About me
Chad “The Sticker Dude” Medema is a tattoo artist from Painesville, Ohio, with 10 years of experience. He is best known for his sticker-style tattoos, bold and colorful designs that look as if they’ve been peeled straight from a sticker sheet. Chad also creates black and grey tattoos, and often combines both styles into unique hybrid pieces that showcase the contrast of realism and playful color in a single design. Clients can book with Chad by email or through messenger on Facebook or Instagram.
Chad has been an artist his entire life, pursuing art through school and into college courses before turning his passion into a career. He always knew he wanted to become a tattoo artist, the inspiration started with his first tattoo, and he eventually apprenticed under Harley and Greg, who gave him a strong foundation in the craft.
Over the past decade, Chad has developed a distinctive voice in tattooing through his signature sticker-style designs. These tattoos are bright, bold, and fun, with crisp outlines and vivid colors that look as if they were pressed onto the skin like real stickers. Alongside this, Chad also

enjoys creating black and grey work, and often merges the two into hybrid pieces that are instantly recognizable and truly one of a kind. His influences include Salvador Dalí, Jesse Smith, and Tony Cevvaro, artists known for their surrealism, bold imagery, and playful approaches to design.
Chad’s work has been showcased at conventions and competitions, where his unique style has earned attention and recognition. He believes tattooing is about more than just the finished piece, it is about the entire process and experience. He takes time to walk clients through each step, encourages them to trust his creative freedom, and makes sure every session is comfortable and relaxed.

Outside of tattooing, Chad enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, kayaking, and exploring, and he proudly calls himself a nerd, with interests in gaming and collecting that often influence his creative energy. His earliest tattoos, done on himself, remain personal reminders of how far he has grown as both an artist and a person.
Chad books tattoos via email or through messenger on Facebook or Instagram, where clients can reach out with their ideas. He welcomes projects big and small but always values creative freedom to give clients the best results. As Chad himself says: “Not only are you getting a piece of art, but you’re taking home an experience.”
