Ryan Hollis served four years in the military before moving into tattooing, turning his passion for art into a career.
He specializes in black and grey realism, with a focus on portraits and animals. His work is built around strong contrast, depth, and detail, with the goal of creating tattoos that age well and stay solid over time.
Ryan takes his work seriously and focuses on making sure each piece is done right. He prefers when clients come in with a general idea and give him some freedom to create something that works best as a tattoo.

His approach to sessions is straightforward and comfortable. He’s happy to talk and answer questions, but just as comfortable keeping things quiet and relaxed.
He has been featured in The Tattoo Industry Magazine, Issue 24, and some of his favorite projects have been full back pieces where he can really see the work come together. What matters most to him is the finished result and making sure the client is happy with it.
Originally from the Mentor Headlands, Ryan spends a lot of his time outdoors riding motorcycles, camping, and staying active. He often listens to classical music while working to stay focused.
Ryan books primarily through email, though social media works as well. He looks forward to working with new clients and continuing to build strong, lasting tattoos.
